《菊花》关注于19世纪美国女性的精神状态,被认为是约翰斯坦贝克最负盛名的短篇小说之一。本文旨在运用格莱斯的会话合作原则分析文中主人公的对话,通过解析对话背后的会话含义即说话者真实的意图来分析小说人物。
Chrysanthemum focuses on the mental states of American women in the 19th century and is considered one of John Steinbeck’s most famous short stories. The purpose of this paper is to analyze Grice’s dialogue cooperation principle and analyze the characters by analyzing the meaning of conversations behind the dialogue, that is, the speaker’s true intention.
