E面电介质片或铁氧体片加载结构是波导铁氧体器件(例如移相器和鳍线隔离器)的一种常见结构。本文发展了E面部分加载器件的一种等效理论。E面加载结构可等效成充满均匀等效电介质的波导管。给出有关填充因子、有效介电常数、约化波阻抗和约化波导波长的理论公式。进行了波导铁氧体移相器和鳍线铁氧体隔离器的匹配设计。X波段的实验研究表明,在10%频宽内,VSWR<1.25(波导移相器)和1.5(鳍线隔离器)是能够实现的。设计与实验有良好一致。
E-plane dielectric sheets or ferrite sheet loading structures are a common structure of waveguide ferrite devices, such as phase shifters and fin line isolators. In this paper, we develop an equivalent theory of E-surface partial loading device. The E-surface loading structure is equivalent to a waveguide filled with a uniform equivalent dielectric. The theoretical formulas for the fill factor, effective dielectric constant, reduced wave impedance, and reduced waveguide wavelength are given. The matching design of waveguide ferrite phase shifter and fin wire ferrite isolator was carried out. Experimental studies in the X-band show that VSWR <1.25 (waveguide phase shifter) and 1.5 (fin-line isolator) are achievable within 10% bandwidth. Design and experiment are in good agreement.
