综述2009年5月,蒙德拉贡大学(Mondragon University)与巴斯克厨师学校(Basque Chefs)在当地公共机构的支持下,共同为巴斯克烹饪中心进行了奠基。巴斯克烹饪中心坐落于西班牙吉普斯夸省圣塞巴斯蒂安,将成为烹饪美食科学大学(Gastronomic Sciences University)总部以及蒙德拉贡大学的烹饪美食科学创新与研究中心。作为首座以美食烹饪为主要功能的建筑,巴斯克烹饪中心可谓独一无二。巴斯克烹饪中心的建立旨在开展烹饪美食科学专业的人才培训、研究以及创新,转化不同领域的知识成果,在大学、科研中心、企业以及公共机构(圣塞巴斯蒂安市政厅、吉普斯夸省议会巴斯克政府、西班牙政府)的科学创新部门之间共同开展研究活动。
Overview Mondragon University and the Basque Chefs, with the support of local public agencies, laid the groundwork for the Basque Culinary Center in May 2009. Located in San Sebastian, the province of Guipuzcoa, Spain, Basque Cooking Center will be the headquarters of Gastronomic Sciences University and the Center for Cuisine, Food Science Innovation and Research at Mondragon University. The first Basque culinary center is unique as the first building to feature culinary arts. The Basque Culinary Center was established to train, research and innovate the food and culinary science professionals and transform the knowledge of different fields in universities, research centers, businesses and public institutions (San Sebastian City Hall, Gipps Praise Provincial Council Basque government, the Spanish government) scientific innovation departments jointly carry out research activities.
