薄荷是一种重要香料作物。薄荷的加工制品——薄荷脑和薄荷素油可广泛用于医药、日用化工和食品中加香。在国际市场上,我国的薄荷产品素享盛誉,为国家建设创造外汇起了一定的作用。目前,国际市场薄荷油价回升,销路畅通。国内市场对薄荷加工制品的需求量也日趋增加,据有关资料报道,全国仅牙膏行业每年就需要薄荷脑450吨左右。因此,从1985年起我省的薄荷生产将有较大的发展。
Mint is an important spice crop. Peppermint processed products - menthol and peppermint oil can be widely used in medicine, household chemicals and food flavoring. In the international market, the mint products of our country enjoy a good reputation and play a certain role in the country’s construction of creating foreign exchange. At present, the peppermint oil prices in the international market have picked up and sales have been smooth. Demand for mint processed products is also on the increase in the domestic market. According to relevant information, only about 450 tons of menthol are needed in toothpaste industry each year in the country. Therefore, since 1985, mint production in our province will have a greater development.
