江西省冶金工业在“七五”期间得到较快发展,铁、钢、钢材、有色金属生产都上了一个新的台阶。“七五”期间,冶金装备水平也有显著提高。省冶金工业总公司17个生产企业5年新增固定资产7.68亿元,总公司固定资产原值从1985年的10.06亿元增加到1990年的17.74亿元。冶金企业设备战线广大职工精心维护设备,积极治理隐患,保证设备安全运行,为冶金工业发展做出了贡献。 但是,我省冶金技术装备水平从总体上看是落后的,不能适应先进工艺、品种质量和产量的要求。企业的主要生产设备老化,“七五”期间虽然引进了一些单体设备,但由于不配套等原因,较先进设备的性能得不到充分
