故宫博物院大高玄殿修缮工程本着“文物建筑保护与研究相结合,最大限度地恢复大高玄殿历史原貌”为基本出发点,在确保工程质量、安全、进度的情况下,通过加强工程管理力度,引入考古学手段和理念,首次将建筑考古的研究方法运用到文物建筑保护修缮中,使本工程的施工无论从材料、工具、操作方法、工艺流程的各个方面都严格按照传统工艺,积极做好大高玄殿的文物建筑保护工作。
