近年来我国大面积应用的野败籼型不育系仅有2—3个,这对提高杂交稻的抗性,增强杂交稻的优势,扩大杂交稻面积都是不利的。为此,我们开始有计划地人工制造保持系。根据我所的育种实践和国内外科技工作者对水稻“三系”遗传研究的报道,我们设计用野败现有的保持系与恢复系杂交(或反交)、分离、测交的方法选育新的保持系,可以排除隐性恢复基因r的干扰,且增加了抗源。本试验不仅获得一些保持材料,同时对恢复和保持的基因进行分析,从理论上验证这种选育保持系的方法的可行性,又为下一步研究工作的设想提供理论依据。
