阿莫斯·奥兹通过小说创作来表现自己对巴勒斯坦犹太社会两性间的沟通问题的密切关注。沟通障碍导致失败的爱情婚姻。在奥兹的视野中,20世纪巴勒斯坦犹太社会中更为普遍的现象是两性间存在着严重的沟通障碍。犹太社会对男女的不同角色分工使两性的生活重心存在很大差异;而政治话语在社会生活中无孔不入使人们的情感生活空间极其狭窄,也是沟通障碍产生的原因。
Amos Oz shows his close attention to the issue of communication between the sexes in Palestinian Jewish society through novel creation. Communication barriers lead to the failure of love marriage. In Oz’s vision, the more common phenomenon in Palestinian Jewish society in the twentieth century was the existence of serious communication barriers between the sexes. The division of labor between men and women in Jewish society leads to great differences in the focus of life between the two sexes. However, the pervasive emotional living space of political discourse in the social life is also the reason for the communication barrier.
