American director Spielberg once quoted his father as he described the mood of World War II veterans: “We are not afraid of death and we are afraid of being forgotten.” These veterans witnessed the bitter and grieving Taierzhuang Campaign, the Battle of Chungshan, and the Battle of Wuhan , Luoyang Battle ... Now what are they? In early 2013, when I saw the volunteers’ visit to the Kuomintang anti-Japanese veterans on the Internet, I started the idea of leaving images for the anti-Japanese war veterans. These veterans, who once sparred bayonets with Japanese devils for the liberation of their nation, splashed their blood, and now they have entered the first year of their slumber. They have a lot of fate, some do not have the conditions to get married, or their families are implicated, causing their relatives to be indifferent and the evening scene desolate. Their greatest wish is “The state admits that we are soldiers against Japan ”.
