从1979年开始的声势浩大的语文教学改革,至今已取得了不少的成绩,但是,有一个老大难的问题仍然困扰着广大的语文教师:中小学生的语文基本功普遍很差。一方面,是语文教学的新方法越来越多,各种方案的教学改革实验成果越来越多;另一方面,社会上对大中小学生语文基本功差的批评却越来越尖锐。1979年吕叔湘先生在公开信中指出的语文教学花时多而收效微的咄咄怪如,至今仍然存在,而且大有日趋严重之势。就拿我市近几年中考语文试卷分析统计资料来看:试卷书写端正,字迹清楚,字形较美观(这些是《中学语文教学大纲》的要求)的不到3%,而书写潦草,字形较差的将近半数,其中有10%的试卷,字迹令人难
The massive language teaching reforms that began in 1979 have achieved a lot of achievements so far. However, there is still a long-standing problem that still plagues the majority of language teachers: the primary and secondary school students’ basic language skills are generally poor. On the one hand, there are more and more new methods of Chinese teaching, and more and more experimental reforms have been made in the teaching reform of various programs. On the other hand, criticisms of basic language skills of primary and middle school students in the society have become more and more acute. In 1979, Mr. Lü Shuxiang pointed out in the open letter that the language instruction in Chinese language teaching has a lot of time and has little effect.
