Since the 1960s, the climate anomalies and strong earthquakes occurred almost simultaneously in North China. However, after careful analysis of the data, it is found that the climate anomalies in this area often lead the outbreak of strong earthquakes. Such as 1963-1964 Ji, Henan, Shandong and Shanxi rare floods and consequent 1965 Ji, Jin and other places unprecedented drought, seems to be a modulation factor suddenly started the “sleeping” for many years in North China Land, triggering a magnitude 7.2 earthquake in Xingtai in 1966 - the area entered a new period of seismic activity
