郁郁平生,位卑年促唐宪宗元和七年(812),李商隐诞生在获嘉(今河南新乡市)。当时李商隐的父亲是获嘉县令。李商隐的先祖和唐高祖李渊是堂兄弟,因此李商隐以“我系本王孙”自许。但李商隐没有得到任何“王孙”的优待。从其高祖到诗人本身,多为中小官吏,从未显赫过。诗人的童年是在父亲官衙中度过的。父亲俸钱甚微,三姊一弟,家口颇多,生计维艰。李商隐启蒙较早,他自己说“五年读经书,七年弄笔砚”。十岁父亲病
