《原野》是曹禺所有创作中非常特别的一部代表作,无论是在题材形式、公演历史还是当代改编上都显示出其丰富性,其历史意义值得再读。研究者常常忽视曹禺在“非理性”表达上的戏剧叙事策略,实际上,《原野》通过“非理性”叙事凸显出民族历史嬗变的必然和艰难。同时,这一主题意义重大,仍然造成《原野》在戏剧绝对形式上的裂隙,这一裂隙是《原野》第三幕成为上演难点的根本原因所在。
“Wilderness” is a very special masterpiece in all creations of Cao Yu. It shows its richness both in theme form, performance history and contemporary adaptation, and its historical significance is worth reading again. Researchers often ignore Cao Yu’s dramatic narrative strategy in the expression of “irrationality ”. In fact, Wilderness highlights the inevitable and difficult historical changes of the Chinese nation through the “irrational ” narration. At the same time, the theme is of great significance and still causes the “Wilderness” to crack in the absolute form of drama. The fissure is the root cause of the third scene of “Wilderness” becoming a difficult stage.
