美国比较文学学者厄尔·迈纳的《比较诗学》建构的是跨文化的比较诗学理论体系。迈纳把重点放在原创诗学的阐发以及文类中介的建立上,在东西方文学文本的比较中自然升华了文学本质、特性以及功能的思考,因而体现着作者独特的入思方式。迈纳秉承着跨文化的视野,历史动态的诗学观念以及开放的襟怀,自由地畅游东西方的文学艺术领地,尽管如迈纳自己所说,这样做仅仅是一种尝试,但是已经在我们眼前展现了世界诗学的瑰丽景色,开阔了我们的思维与视野,给人以前所未有的启示。
American comparative literature scholar Earl Miner’s Comparative Poetics constructs a cross-cultural comparative poetics theoretical system. Mainner’s emphasis on the elucidation of original poetics and the establishment of genre intermediaries naturally sublimates the nature, characteristics and functions of literature in the comparison of Eastern and Western literary texts, thus reflecting the author’s unique way of thinking. In keeping with a cross-cultural perspective, historical dynamic poetics, and open mindedness, Mindain freely travels through the Eastern and Western literary and art realms. Although it is only an attempt, as Miner himself says, it has been done in our own hands The magnificent scenery of world poetics was revealed in front of us, broadening our thinking and vision, giving people an unprecedented revelation.
