数学教育不同于其他自然科学学科的教育,因为他不是实验科学。他是通过逻辑理解、抽象概括、对称表象、联想变化等数字思维方式,来培养学生的运算能力和逻辑思维能力。他不仅是一个由浅入深、由表及里的数学能力教育过程。同时也是个数学素质的培养过程。在高度抽象、严谨逻辑、无限空间、奇异变化的数学世界里,使学生渐进积累变换的、敏锐的、独特的和创新的思维素质。这种在数学学习活动中自然形成的数学素质,甚至比数学能力本身更为重要。
