搜索三巨头无一拥有绝对忠诚用户根据Nielsen/NetRatings所作的最新调查显示:大部分的网民都不会只使用一个搜索引擎,而是选择2-3个搜索引擎来寻找最佳结果。即使是Google的用户也会经常去拜访一下Yahoo或者MSN的搜索服务,调查显示,至少有58%的Google用户是这样的。分析师认为包括Google在内的搜索引擎公司都必须清楚意识到:在网络搜索的领域里,没有哪家公司拥有绝对忠诚用户。这给了想进入这个市场的玩家们一个重要提醒--在这个高度竞争性的领域内,只有凭借革新才能站稳脚跟。Yahoo和MSN的用户忠诚度就更低了,令人惊奇的是无论是Yahoo搜索用户还是MSN搜索用户,他们都将Google列为第二个备选的搜索引擎。Yahoo给Google贡献了39%的流量,而MSN则贡献给Google30%的流量。
According to a recent survey conducted by Nielsen / NetRatings, most Internet users do not use only one search engine, but choose 2-3 search engines to find the best results. Even Google’s users often visit Yahoo or MSN’s search service, the survey shows that at least 58% of Google users is like this. Analysts believe that search engine companies, including Google, must be well aware that no company has an absolute loyalty in the web search space. This gives an important reminder to players who want to enter the market - in this highly competitive field, innovation can only gain a firm foothold.
