胶质纤维酸性蛋白(GFAP)是存在于神经胶质细胞中间丝中的一种蛋白。目前GFAP免疫组织化学染色主要应用于神经系统胶质瘤的诊断,可以把胶质细胞瘤和脑膜瘤,肉瘤及转移瘤区别开来;能把异位于软脑膜的星形细胞瘤和脑膜瘤及恶性脑膜间叶瘤相区别。应用过氧化物酶免疫组织化学染色方法显示的GFAP是星形细胞瘤和神经系统更恶性胶质瘤极好的标记物,因此,在神经系统胶质瘤的诊断中很有实用价值。
Glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) is a protein that is present in the intermediate filaments of glial cells. At present, GFAP immunohistochemical staining is mainly used in the diagnosis of nervous system gliomas. It can distinguish gliomas from meningiomas, sarcomas and metastases; astrocytoma and meningioma can be located at the pia mater. And malignant meningeal mesothelioma difference. The use of peroxidase immunohistochemical staining shows that GFAP is an excellent marker for astrocytomas and more malignant gliomas of the nervous system. Therefore, it is of practical value in the diagnosis of nervous system gliomas.
