Life on a planet beyond our 1)solar system: could it be possible? Well, NASA’s been on the lookout and it seems they’ve just spotted Earth’s twin.
They call it Kepler 22B and it sits about 600 light years away. It’s about 2? times the size of Earth and circles a sun not unlike our own. Though scientists are unsure whether it’s made mostly of rock, gas or liquid, they confirm that this planet falls within its sun’s 2)habitable zone, a distance that could allow for the existence of water. The discovery was made by NASA’s Kepler spacecraft, and marks the best 3)candidate yet for an earth-like twin.

By Holly Williams & Jenny Hill Sale
