日前,苏州市政府出台《苏州市劳模评选和管理办法》,对劳模评选和管理进行了规范。在2013年的苏州市总工会与市政府的联席会议上,苏州市总工会就劳模的评选和管理,建议市政府出台文件加以进一步规范。这一建议得到了苏州市政府的采纳和高度重视,会后责成苏州市人社局、市发改委、市民政局、市法制办等单位与市总工会联合调研,在厘清上级政策和政府原来规定的基础上,起草相关文件文本,为政府决策提供依据。在2014年苏州市政府第20次常务会议上讨论通过了该《办法》。
