随着工业生产和科学技术的发展,松香、松节油的工业用途不断扩大。我省目前年需松香3500—5000吨,而实际分配量仅2000吨,难以满足轻、化工业发展的需求。我省具有一定的油松林资源,油松是我国主要采脂树种之一,具有工业采脂的价值。贯彻合理的采脂工艺,不影响树木生长。实行长期性养生法采脂,每株松树可采脂10—15年,采脂所得的价值远超过松树木材本身的价值。而且采脂后的松木,还可增强防腐性能。太岳林局灵空山林场今年试生产的结果进一步肯定了油松松香生产的经济效益。当然,我省森林资源还较少,现有的森林资源是极其宝贵的财富,是恢复我省森林
