The Shaanxi Provincial Government issued the [2012] No. 29 municipalities, counties and districts people’s governments, the Provincial People’s Government work departments, and all the directly-affiliated institutions: “Shaanxi Province’s action plan for containment and prevention of AIDS” has been approved by the provincial government. It is issued to you, please conscientiously implemented. On March 19, 2012, the Shaanxi Province’s Action Plan for Deterring and Preventing AIDS and the Twelfth Five-Year Plan, in order to effectively safeguard the health of the people in the province, implemented the “People’s Government of Shaanxi Province to Further Strengthen the Prevention and Treatment of AIDS.” In accordance with the “12th Five-Year Plan of Action for China’s Containment and Prevention of AIDS,” and the deepening of the reform of the medical and health system in our province, this action plan has been formulated. I. Status of prevention and control In recent years, various cities (districts) and relevant departments in our province have conscientiously implemented a series of decision-making arrangements regarding the prevention and control of AIDS by the Party Central Committee, the State Council, the provincial party committee, and the provincial government, implemented comprehensive prevention and control measures, and achieved remarkable results in prevention and control work.
