1964年5月2日,中国登山队的索南多吉、米马扎西、云登、多吉、成天亮、王富洲、张俊岩、陈三、许竞、邬宗岳等10位优秀高山登山家,在人类历史上首次集体登上世界第十四高峰、海拔8012米的希夏邦马峰,为世界高山探险史谱写了新的篇章,为中国人民赢得荣誉,也为世界高山探险的重要历史阶段———“喜马拉雅的黄金时代”划上响亮的句号。一次攀登8000米以上高峰,集体10人同时登顶,这个记录也是当时世界第一的。但是,这次登山的成功,却有一段令人难忘的故事。且让我慢慢讲来。
