本世纪初就已经发表了关于粉末轧制的第一篇专刊。但是,七十多年来,无论在理论上还是在实际应用方面,进展都比较迟缓,迄今为止,除有限的几种有色金属、多孔材料和金属陶瓷采用粉末轧制生产少量的产品之外,在黑色金属领域中尚未实际应用,铁粉价格较贵是主要原因。有人认为,即使在不远的将来,粉末轧制也不能用于带钢生产。但是,在稀有金属领域中,由于现行生产工艺复杂、加工费用高、成材率低和粉末价格相对不太贵等原因,所以有条件采用粉末轧制。本文就粉末轧制方法进行了探讨,并叙述了粉末轧制钛带的质量和经济效果。

However, in the field of rare metals, it is possible to adopt powder rolling because of the current complicated production process, high processing cost, low finished product rate, and relatively inexpensive powder. This paper discusses the powder rolling method, and describes the quality and economic effect of titanium powder rolling.
