一九五九年,有一期《新观察》杂志的封面上刊载了一幅鲁迅木刻肖像,大约是为配合许广平先生在该刊连载《鲁迅回忆录》而刊发的。那幅鲁迅像,面部庄重慈祥,眼神深邃清澈,态度平静沉稳,具有强烈的震撼力,给读者留下极深刻的印象。作者署名:颜仲。三十四年后的一九九三年七月,在鲁迅博物馆西小院《鲁迅研究月刊》编辑部,我与颜仲第一次见面。他留着鲁迅式的平头与胡须,穿着质朴且过时,不善言谈。不像一个艺术家,与鲁迅像的作者,一时很难对上号。
