Blood levels of growth hormone (SM) and its regulation significantly change with age. Adult serum contains two major types of SM: IGF-I and IGF-II. SM-C is the same as IGF-I. Neutrophil SM-A and IGF-I are closely related homologues. Other SMs, such as those produced by embryonic cells and malignancies, are homologues of IGF-II. A peptide with MSA (rat embryonic SM) is a closely related congener to IGF-II. SM is an endocrine hormone and is an orseptic hormone. However, our current technology only allows the determination of SM concentration in blood for clinical evaluation. The I-GF-I and IFG-II-related peptides provided in the assay system used determine the value due to
