红岗采油厂自1978年始,克服了“人员缺少,资金不足,资料不全,运输条件差”等困难,经过5年时间的探索、研究、试验,到1983年把当时32个不同的点、站、库用无线传输的办法设制成初具规模的自动化计量系统。1984年,又同上海复旦大学合作,进一步完善该系统,从主机到终端全部采用微机控制。以后,随着科技的进步和电子产品价格的下降,又先后组织专业人员与扬州无线电厂、吉林化工学院、北京美仪工控有限公司等几家单位合作,把整个系统完善、改进成现今的分散采集、无线传输、集中管理的分散型自动化计量系统,即在终端收集由一次仪表采集到的所有油、气、水和热水管道内的有关参数,经预处理后,打包、调制成数据讯号,由无线通道传至调制解调器,解调、拆包送至主机处理、
