Objective To investigate the dynamic changes of ambulatory electrocardiogram induced by acute stroke. Methods Eighty-eight patients with acute stroke admitted from August 2011 to August 2012 were enrolled. Patients were divided into two groups according to different stroke sites: brainstem stroke group and non-brainstem stroke group. All 78 patients with acute stroke were recorded 24h continuous electrocardiogram within 72 hours after admission and hemorrhagic stroke and non-hemorrhagic stroke comparative analysis. Results The incidence of abnormal ECG in 78 patients with acute stroke was 67.95%. The rate of abnormal ECG in brain stem stroke group (90%) was significantly higher than that in non - brachial stroke group (75.85%) (P <0.05). The rate of abnormal ECG in hemorrhagic stroke (87.10%) was significantly higher than that in non-hemorrhagic stroke (70.21%) (p <0.05). Conclusion The location of acute stroke and the degree of bleeding and dynamic ECG abnormalities have a very direct relationship.
