In recent years, the western management community has put forward the idea of “rebuilding the enterprise” and has aroused the attention of the vast number of enterprises in our country. The traditional management is based on elaborate process decomposition and fine professional division of labor. Each department, workshop, and team are divided according to their functions, and the corresponding tasks are completed according to the specified operating standards. This management approach accommodates the efficient and large-scale production of standardized products. The basic principle of enterprise reconstruction is to completely subordinate the setting and arrangement of management organizations, management personnel, and management procedures to “customer orders,” not to tasks. In accordance with this principle, management must be changed from the original method of management by functional division to “relying on operational processes as the center” to reorganize, that is, around a specific task.
