当今社会,随着中等职业教育的迅速发展,全面提高中等职业学校学生综合素质的呼声也越来越高。这种综合素质所包含的内容是多方面的,但就数学教育来说,一个很重要的方面,就是数学应用能力的培养。在科技日新月异的今天,数学广泛的应用性日愈显现。因此,教师在教学中首先要明确数学应用能力培养的目的性,找出中职学生数学应用能力差的原因,帮助学生树立正确的数学学习观,把培养学生应用能力落到实处,掌握提高学生的数学应用能力的方式方法。中职学校在我国教育中有其特殊性,它担负着向社会输送合格的技术和操作人员的任务。如何提高中职学生的应用能力成为新时期的新问题。
