小学数学知识具有概括性和抽象性的特点,比如在学习正方体与正方形、长方体与长方形等空间与图形之类的概念时,需要教师从学生的认知水平和小学数学的知识特点入手,将数学知识的抽象性通过图形与空间的想象展现出来。这是新课改的要求,有利于有效发展学生的观察和分析能力,同时也有助于提高小学数学课堂教学。
