Objective To investigate the correlation between digestive system diseases and type A behavior. Methods A type A behavioral questionnaire was measured in 130 patients with digestive diseases and 98 normal controls. Results There were significant differences in the number of type A behaviors between the sick and control groups (χ2 = 4.98, P <0.05). There were significant differences among the five types of behavior types (2χ = 6.844, P <0.05) CH scores were significantly higher than the normal control group (P <0.05). Conclusions Significant type A agents are closely linked to digestive diseases, affecting the occurrence, development and treatment of the disease.
