我所在省林科所有关科技人员的配合下,于1977年开始油茶嫁接.在此之前,我们分析了各种嫁接技术的利弊,以及油茶生物学特性与组织结构,认为一些嫁接技术之所以对油茶失效或效果不高,原因有两个:一是油茶树皮极薄,不易切到大面积的形成层;二是油茶早期生长缓慢,接穗水分供应有困难(接穗易干死).找到了这两个主要矛盾以后,便着手改进嫁接方法.
