记者:张昭,你一直自称是美国东部导演。你从一个学理工的,再经过哲学系研究生的训练,现在成了一个电影人。其实,我觉得这跟美国东部电影的风格蛮接近的。从历程上来说,是一种“独身的经历”(Independent Path)。张昭:自称美国东部导演是开玩笑,不过我确实是从纽约来的,受到不少美国东部电影的陶冶。记者:能否解释一下所谓美国东部电影风格指的是什么? 张昭:我觉得从电影精神上看这种风格会比较有意思。美国的电影文化把电影看作表达个人的传播工具(至少在好莱坞以外是这样)。电影的制作进程很透明,每一个人都可以去买一部电影摄影机,然后去拍电影,拍完后也许就卖掉了,也许就可以自称是 Reporter: Zhang Zhao, you have always claimed to be the director of the eastern United States. You learned from a science, and then through the training of graduate students in philosophy, and now has become a filmmaker. In fact, I think this is quite close to the style of the eastern United States movie. From the process of history, it is a “Independent Path.” Zhang Zhao: Self-styled director of the Eastern United States is a joke, but I really came from New York, by many American Eastern movie cultivation. Reporter: Can you explain what is meant by the so-called eastern movie style of the United States? Zhang Zhao: I think this style is more interesting from a movie perspective. American cinema culture sees cinema as a personal communication tool (at least outside of Hollywood). The film making process is very transparent, everyone can buy a movie camera, and then go filming the movie, may be sold after shooting, and perhaps you can claim to be
