科学发展观强调全面协调发展,是对唯物史观关于社会结构和社会系统理论的运用和阐发。科学发展观强调可持续发展,是对唯物史观关于人、社会对自然界的依赖性和社会历史连续性理论的运用和阐发。与马克思主义、毛泽东思想、邓小平理论和“三个代表”重要思想是一脉相承的,其实质也是解放思想、实事求是,坚持科学发展观就是坚持解放思想、实事求是。
The scientific concept of development emphasizes overall and coordinated development, which is the application and elucidation of the theory of historical materialism about social structure and social system. The scientific concept of development emphasizes sustainable development, which is the application and elucidation of the historical materialism’s reliance on human beings, society’s dependence on nature and social-historical continuity. It goes hand in hand with Marxism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thinking of the ’Three Represents.’ Its essence is also emancipating the mind and seeking truth from facts. To uphold the scientific concept of development means insisting on emancipating the mind and seeking truth from facts.
