王夫之重新阐解了孔子“兴观群怨”说,他于孔子说《诗》语句只取“可从”一词进行解释,并将其意归结为“随所以而皆可”。王氏“可以”新解的理论结构可以至诚论来概说,意指排除外物宰制、出于至诚、合乎自然,这一理论结构涵盖王夫之诗学的诗歌本原“文诚质诚”、“兴”论等诸多有机关联的命题,它是圆融自足的。
