玩笑的理解是在突显机制和抑制机制作用下的“双重”加工过程。亲情图式或认知框架的激活和意象的突显是理解玩笑的关键。抑制和突显预设对比意义的存在。受话人须激活、突显积极的情感信息,同时抑制消极的字面意义以建构话语的适当心理表征。玩笑的理解依赖建构而不是对话语的直接复制。
The joke is understood as a “double” process under the prominence and suppression mechanisms. The activation of affection schema or cognitive framework and the highlighting of images are the key to understanding joke. Suppress and highlight the existence of the preset contrasting meaning. The receiver must be activated to highlight the positive emotional information while suppressing the negative literal meaning to construct the appropriate psychological representation of the discourse. The joke’s understanding depends on the construction rather than the direct copy of the discourse.
