从名作欣赏的角度说,接受者的理解跟作者的原意相去甚远,甚至完全相反,是经常存在的。这有多种情况。其中之一,是对作者或文中涉及的人物存有偏见,以致不能正确理解。高长虹就是许多人存严重偏见的一个人物。高长虹跟鲁迅发生冲突,鲁迅开始做了激烈的反驳,但后来认识有所不同,即便不能说是转变,说他对原先的说法有了很大的修正,则是完全说得通的。可是这一点从来没有人谈及。在笔者看来,《两地书》一一二信是偏见产生误读的一个最好的例子。

In my opinion, the “two books” one hundred and twelve letters is one of the best examples of misunderstanding prejudice.
