超越离合器是一种随回转方向改变而能自动结合或脱开的摩擦离合器,它是利用滚柱在星轮和外环间(见附图)被夹紧而传递力矩的。夹紧时,由于是线接触,因此零件容易磨损。超越离合器的工作性能与楔角λ的大小有直接的影响。λ小,滚柱容易楔紧星轮。但当λ小于摩擦角时,离合器会自锁,将发生脱不开的现象。当λ大于2倍摩擦角时,又会打滑,使离合器不能锁紧。因此,楔角λ一般取5°~7°,修理后取8°~11°。超越离合器中,顶住滚柱的小弹簧如扭曲或滚柱磨损了,一般均可调换新的。当星轮在滚柱的接触处出现凹坑,应修复星轮的接触平面,并调换滚柱。修复办法如下: 将星轮放在工具磨床上修复平面。修磨平面时,分度要均匀,修磨量要小,星轮平面对孔中心线的平行度应控制在0.015mm内。修磨后的楔角可按式cosλ=(2h+d)/(D-d)求得。式中h为修磨后星轮的平面高度,D为外环内径;d为滚柱直径。星轮平面修磨后,其楔角λ一般要大于8°,应重
