The neodymium-doped LNA has been used in the field of ultrashort pulses due to its broad fluorescence line, high gain factor, high doping concentration and broad absorption spectra for a wide range of pump types. The new laser material was mode-locked by using negative feedback control technology. A stable laser output with pulse width of 5ps and spectral half-width of 0.43nm was obtained
