大学英语教学一直是我国外语教学的热门话题,许多高校都在实践中不断探索符合自身办学特色的大学英语教学。如何在工科院校中进行大学英语教学,培养符合专业特色的复合型人才,是促进大学英语教学改革和激发非英语专业学生英语学习的根本动力。本文以需求分析理论为指导,分析目前大学英语教学的现状,结合英语学习心理和学习动机,提出合理化的建议,使大学英语教学和社会需求紧密结合,从而避免教学和实际应用的脱节。
College English teaching has always been a hot topic of foreign language teaching in our country. Many colleges and universities are constantly exploring the teaching of college English which is in line with their own characteristics in running schools. How to carry out college English teaching in engineering colleges and universities and cultivate compound talents in line with professional characteristics is the fundamental motivation to promote the reform of college English teaching and to stimulate non-English majors’ English learning. Based on the theory of demand analysis, this paper analyzes the current situation of college English teaching, puts forward suggestions of rationalization based on English learning psychology and learning motivation, and integrates college English teaching and social needs so as to avoid the disconnection between teaching and practical application.
