上世纪80年代以来,当代散文创作涌现出众多名家名篇。在诸多散文作家中,余秋雨以宏大气魄闻名,常以古物遗迹为线索,将具象的事物升华为抽象的精神,从而引出宏大叙事的历史主体,追溯悠远的人类文明历史。而另一位散文名家刘亮程则具备截然不同的写作风格,其视野集中于生活的村庄,以细腻的笔调追索人生的意义与生命的价值。这两位散文作家尽管风格存在差异,但其共通之处在于以语言探索人生,将具象而微小的事物与宏大的主题相联系,创造动人心魄的艺术世界,并与时代脉搏相连。
Since the 1980s, many famous essays have emerged in contemporary prose creation. Among many essayist writers, Yu Qiuyu is famous for his great ambitions. Often, he takes the relics of ancient objects as clues and sublimates the figurative things into the abstract spirit, thus leading to the historical subject of the grand narrative and tracing the distant history of human civilization. And another famous essayist Liu Liang Cheng has a very different style of writing, focusing on the village life, with a delicate style of recourse to the meaning of life and the value of life. Despite their differences in style, these two essay writers share the common ground of exploring life with language, linking figurative and trivial things with ambitious themes, creating an engaging artistic world and connecting with the pulse of the times.
