外商直接投资(FDI)是促进一国经济增长的主要动力之一。研究FDI与新疆工业发展之间的内在联系,对加快新疆工业化进程,维护地区稳定都具有十分重要的意义。通过1995-2008年相关实证研究,得出新疆的工业生产总值和工业发展总水平与外商直接投资之间存在正的显著的相关性。因此,需要积极创造环境吸引外商直接投资,促进新疆经济发展。
Foreign direct investment (FDI) is one of the major engines driving economic growth in a country. Studying the internal relations between FDI and industrial development in Xinjiang is of great significance to speeding up the process of industrialization in Xinjiang and safeguarding regional stability. Through the relevant empirical studies from 1995 to 2008, it is concluded that there is a positive and significant correlation between the total industrial output value and the level of industrial development in Xinjiang and foreign direct investment. Therefore, we must actively create the environment to attract foreign direct investment and promote economic development in Xinjiang.
