安腾就绪,虚位以待,然而利益各方却各揣心思:对Intel而言,安腾无疑是夺得高端服务器市场的重磅武器,所以颇有些孤注一掷的味道;对惠普而言,一方面安腾的成功能帮助惠普重返高端计算的王位,但另一方面,惠普决不会在最后的底牌翻开之前放弃自身的PA产品研发,把鸡蛋放在不同的篮子里安全系数应该更大;对IBM、康柏等原有64位芯片的厂商来说,急于表态不如观望,给用户多一点选择也是自身多一点市场份额的保证;而对浪潮、联想等原来难于涉足高端服务器市场的厂商而言,安腾将是他们踏足Unix服务器产品的最好时机。由于各怀心机,市场格局便愈发显得扑朔迷离……
