近年来,研究生物界周期性现象与周期性节律的生物学分支称时间生物学(Chro-nobiology)。药物作用以及生理和病理的参数比例,决定于每天的不同时间。以激素的定期释放为例,它是受大脑内所谓“生物钟”控制,所以机体的周期性变化节律是一种生物内源性能,它是受各种外界环境刺激而变化。物理医学及矿泉疗养地治疗与时间生物学的关系极为密切,德国Lamper 在1949年报导,病人对高温治疗的耐受性是早晨比下午强。1952年,DeRudder 已考虑到机体的周期性生物学变化。以后一系列研究证明,连续矿泉疗养地治疗刺激,可以引起生物学节律变化,特别是机体对矿泉疗法的适应性反应显示特征性的时间结构。
In recent years, the biological branch that studies the periodic phenomenon and periodic rhythm of the biological world is called Chro-nobiology.
