《英语教学大纲》明确规定,通过口语课的教学,学生能就日常生活中一般情景进行恰当的交际,能就所听读的材料和熟悉的题材进行对话和连贯发言,由此可见,口语同其他几种技巧一样重要。然而,同听、读、写相比较,口语课对于授受双方都是一门较为困难的课程,由于缺乏真实的交际环境和交际意图,学生很难获得用英语交际的机会,较难产生练习口语的欲望。加之在教学时,部分教师的方法不当所用教材不能完全适应教学的需要,致使口语课的教学达不到预期的效果。本文拟从使用灵活多样的课堂活动形式,创造自然和谐,轻松愉快的课堂气氛这一目的出发,介绍几种课堂交际活动,旨在提高学生的兴趣和参与性,与同行门探讨。
