高等师范专科学校两年制体育专业球类教学大纲规定,排球教学时数为72学时。通过教学要求能使学生较好地掌握本课程中的基本理论,基本战术和基本技能,达到会讲,会做,会教,具有分析问题和解决问题的能力,胜任初中排球教学工作,主持业余训练、组织竞赛、担任裁判等。我们系1985年恢复招生以来,面对学生来源较差,体育专业基础薄弱,大部分学生入学前没有任何专项体育基础以及教学设备条件不足等不利因素,要在仅有的72学时里完成教学大纲所赋予的任务,差距很大。解决问题的办法只有大胆地开拓出一条省时、速效的新路子来,才能实现大纲所规定的基本目标,也就是对排球教法进行改革。本着这一宗旨,我们做了如下的尝试。
