The advent of cyber society is a major transformation in the history of mankind, a new form of strong connection and organization and a new mode of existence of production and life in human society. A kind of blind optimism holds that the Internet society must make human society more free. However, this view ignores the erosion of human freedom itself by the Internet society as the peak of technological civilization. This paper argues that, while facilitating the production and living of people and the ways of reorganizing social organizations, the online society deprives people of their existence as the social foundation of a large extent economically, politically, socially and ideologically. This directly led to the loss of individual freedom. As a result, cyber-society does not necessarily lead to a free kingdom, but to a large extent has the potential to lead to a new era of slavery. In order to ensure that Internet society can really promote the free development of human beings, it is necessary to implement effective system guarantee from the perspective of the restriction on the use of technology, the protection of individual rights and the balance between private rights and public rights.
