The National Pneumoconiosis Symposium was held in Chongqin Iron and Steel Plant No. 3 from May 14 to May 18, 1986. The meeting was chaired by Professor Liu Shijie, chief editor of the Labor Hygiene and Occupational Diseases Association of the Chinese Medical Association, editor in chief of the China Labor Hygiene and Occupational Diseases, and honorary president of the School of Public Health of Beijing Medical University. Chinese Medical Association Chongqing Branch President Professor Li Zongming will be congratulated.
