台湾电影相对大陆和香港来说,起步较晚。从1925年台湾拍摄第一部故事片《谁之过》开始,到1949年的二十年间,台湾电影产量很少,只有5部。到了二十世纪五十年代,台湾电影发展速度虽有进展,但仍然缓慢,电影题材狭窄、内容偏颇,制作技术和表演艺术都处于初级的积累阶段。二十世圮六十年代,是台湾电影的发展时期,一些电影演员开始在摸索中寻求发展之路。二十世纪七十年代,是台湾电影的繁荣时代,一大批男女影星光彩夺目,令人眼花缭乱。台湾早期的电影演员大都是戏曲演员,后来大陆和香港的一些电影演员来到台湾拍片,台湾本地的后起之秀也逐渐涌现出来。随着台湾电影事业的发展,银河后浪推前浪,一代代电影明星开始交相呼应地升起在台湾影坛,成为中华影坛灿烂群星中的一个组成部分。
Taiwan movies started relatively late for the mainland and Hong Kong. From the first filming of “Who’s Over” in Taiwan in 1925, the output of Taiwanese films has been very small in only five of 1949’s two decades. By the 1950s, although the speed of Taiwan’s film development has been progressing, it is still slow. Movies are narrower, content-biased, and both production and performing arts are at an early stage of accumulation. In the 1960s, the twentieth century was the period of the development of Taiwan’s film. Some film actors began to seek ways of development in groping. In the 1970s, the era of the prosperity of Taiwan’s movies, a large number of male and female movie stars were dazzling and dazzling. Most of the early film actors in Taiwan were drama actors. Later, some film actors from mainland China and Hong Kong came to Taiwan for filming. The local rising star in Taiwan also gradually emerged. With the development of the movie industry in Taiwan, the Milky Way has pushed the waves and the movie stars from generation to generation have started to rise in Taiwan’s cinema and become an integral part of the brilliant Chinese stars.
