Based on the empirical analysis of 23 panel data of Hong Kong and Shenzhen A-share port companies in 2010-2014, we explore the correlation between executive compensation and management power and company characteristics. The study found that: the minimum wage of senior executives in Hong Kong and Shanghai Airlines increased year by year, and the salary gap between enterprises was large but kept decreasing. In the five years, the overall salary level increased first and then decreased. The factors that positively affect the executive compensation were the company Scale, earnings per share and debt-to-asset ratio. Among them, the former two have a great influence and the debt-to-asset ratio has a weak influence. The influence of management power and company growth on executive compensation is insignificant.
